FREEZE! - Forensic Photoshop Is On The Case

February 06, 2008Jim Hoerricks is the Senior Forensic Video Analyst for the Los Angeles Police Department's Scientific Investigation Division, a Photoshop instructor, an author, and a court qualified expert witness in Forensic Video Analysis. His site, Forensic Photoshop, contains lots of interesting posts and tutorials that deal with using Photoshop for forensic work.

This is an extremely interesting article about how Photoshop is used for forensic work. The tutorial shows another way of sharpening an image. Well worth reading.

Thanks for posting the link.

Interestingly enough, I used to spend summers in Sacramento when I was at school in Santa Rosa. It was too hard to find summer work in such a small town and San Francisco was too competitive for such a short term search. Sacramento was like the wild west, tons of opportunity.

I still have friends in Carmichael and absolutely love the country feel of that area.

Thanks again. I've enjoyed skimming through your site.

Cheers,
